Randy, 15, gets out of the rain in a downtown Santa Cruz doorway with all of his earthly positions on the ground next to him in a duffle bag. Many homeless teens in Santa Cruz, like Randy, are totally on their own - either kicked out of their homes by drug-using parents or runaways whose families don't care to have them back.
